About the Role
Minerva Humanoids is building humanoid robots for the most dangerous jobs on the planet. Offshore rigs, refineries, chemical units, safe bomb disposal, chemical and biohazardous substance decontamination and disposal: the work that sends humans into hazardous zones today is the work our robots do tomorrow.
We are now building our German entity with two core objectives. Germany is where the hardware supply base, the certification bodies, and the test infrastructure sit. It is also the base from which we go to market across Europe and the Middle East, where our first customers, industrial partners, and public counterparts are.
As Chief of Staff, you work directly alongside the Head of Germany on whatever matters most. You will not own one function. You will move across entity build-out, commercial pipeline, partnerships, government relations, hiring, and our next fundraise, and you will own real workstreams end to end from an early stage. This is the broadest role we will hire in Germany, and it is a fast route into a functional leadership track rather than a permanent support function.
What You'll Do
Stand up the German entity from zero: finance, HR, legal, and facilities, including vendor selection and the operating processes everything else runs on.
Build our commercial pipeline across Europe and the Middle East: map the customer landscape, prepare pilot and deployment conversations, and put structure behind early opportunities.
Support our next fundraising round end to end, including data room, financial projections, market sizing, investor materials, and diligence follow-ups.
Support the relationships with our assembly and manufacturing partners and with the German industrial base, from preparation and analysis through to follow-through.
Help secure access to automotive OEM, aeronautics, and space test infrastructure, and support our certification work for hazardous environments (ATEX, IECEx).
Prepare and follow up on government engagements at state and federal level, covering public funding programs, procurement processes, and European defense innovation programs.
Build the hiring pipeline for the German team, run early-stage processes, and give every candidate a first-class experience.
Turn open questions into decisions: supplier landscapes, build-versus-buy analyses, and board material.
What You'll Bring
Zero to five years of experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or an operating role at a startup. Career changers welcome if the rest fits.
German at native or near-native level and fluent English. Most of our written work is in English, most of our German counterparts are not.
A strong analytical foundation: you can build a model, structure a market, and defend your assumptions.
Written clarity. A large part of this job is turning messy input into something a decision can be made on.
High autonomy. You will regularly be given a goal rather than a task, and you will come back with a proposal rather than a question.
Genuine interest in the industrial world. Factories, suppliers, test benches, certification bodies. No engineering background required.
Nice to Have
Exposure to the automotive, aerospace, or industrial supply base in southern Germany.
Familiarity with German or European public funding programs.
Experience in a defense, dual-use, or otherwise regulated environment.
Something you have built yourself, technical or commercial.
